HOdo carried off a prize of employment contribution, by virtue of the management idea of talented people and employment absorbing ability, at the event co-sponsored by China Economic Net and Center for Forecasting Science, Chinese Academy of Science on Feb 6.

Currently, HOdo creates 150,000 jobs. Meanwhile, it boosts the development of textile, clothing, transportation, catering and retail industry in the neighborhood.

In 2015, Hodo launched a garment company in Huocheng county, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region with 90 million yuan in investment, following Jiangsu’s Xinjiang aid project.

The 35,500-square-meter project will provide 500 positions at least and produce 3 million suits of clothes every year after it reaches target outputs. The annual turnover is expected to hit 200 million yuan. Now 80 percent of the 300 staff are local ethnic people.

The Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, which HOdo manages in Cambodia, is seeing booming growth, attracting more than 100 companies from China and other countries and creating nearly 20,000 jobs for the local community. Upon completion, the zone is expected to provide 100,000 jobs.
