In order to further promote the construction of SSEZ, Wuxi and Sihanoukville Province of Cambodia held a video working conference on December 17 to discuss practical cooperation between the two places in the fields of international investment, education, culture and medical care. At the conference, a number of projects involving industry, education, cultural activities and other fields were signed and launched.

At the meeting, Jiangsu General Science Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cloud contract with Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone. General Science Technology will invest 1.906 billion yuan in constructing a project of "5 million semi-steel radial tires and 900,000 all-steel radial tires" in SSEZ. Lierong Chen, the vice president of Red Cross and Sihanouk province, executive director of the Red Cross, Suokun Guan signed "Jiangsu - Sihanouk's friendly schools' aid project";
Jiangsu Red Cross and Wuxi Red Cross invested 700000 yuan for Jiangsu - Sihanouk's friendly schools' infrastructure constructions;
Tao Wu, the Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of Wuxi Federation of Trade Unions signed a contract with Jiangang Chen on the aid project of "China-Cambodia Friendship Workers' Cultural Activity Center."
The Wuxi Federation of Trade Unions will provide 800,000 yuan to HOdo Group for the construction of the Sino-Cambodian Friendship workers' Cultural Exchange Center in Xigang Special Zone.
In addition, Xiaogang Du, the Secretary of the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee, also announced the launch of the remote consultation in deepening cooperation project between Wuxi People's Hospital and the Health Service Center of The SSEZ to provide medical services for employees and surrounding villagers in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone.
